napa, santa rosa, in santa rosa seeing temperatures anywhere from 30 to 34 degrees. you are right with in that freezing mark as well. mid-30s nevado areas along the east bayshore line, oakland 38, 36 haywood, half moon bay 40 degrees under mostly sunny sykes, it's a beautiful looking morning but a chilly start to the morning. if you are thinking about heading out to take a walk, be prepared. the king tides for another morning and that high tide comes in next couple hours, you can expect some of the tides to be larger than what we normally get. 41 degrees in belmont. 36 foster city, low's 30s, palo alto but again the sun is up and we will start to see a nice turn around in time for the an afternoon. a mostly sunny, dry weekend. that northwest flow so it's a cool, dry air pulling in. fan fest today starts at ten. temperatures will be around 50 degrees and the mid50s expected for the second half of the day. 57 for oakland today. 55 san francisco, upper 50s santa rosa, san rafael, into the south bay. san jose looking at 58 for the second half, there is the extended forecast, it'll be

. we have lots of lower 50s like livermore, san francisco, santa rosa at 51. concord, good evening to you, 53. santa rosa, 54. you have seen and heard this before a dry radar. we're always looking, always sending out a signal with kpix 5 hi-def doppler. do we get something back? all month no, most of january, too. snowpack is really dropping. top of the year we were 136% of normal. now we're down to 83%. that's a big drop. not as bad as a year ago when we were down to 35%. we could use some rain and some more snow in the sierra. a little bit coming later on this week. two fronts coming at us, one moved through today. you probably noticed clouds from the north. and then toward the evening hours, those clouds pushed down to the south. that was front number one moving through. not a drop of rain. front number 2 will give us some showers later on this week. the setup in the atmosphere is that high pressure dome is just about out of here allowing the onshore flow if anything to get a little stronger tomorrow so even with a decent dose of sunshine

as tonight goes, temperatures are going to be in the 30s for the north bay. 36 in santa rosa. 37 in athens. 38 in concord. and throughout tuesday we'll see daytime highs in the upper 50s for the south bay. also for the east bay, 58 in dublin. 54 in the castro valley and back here to the peninsula we're also expecting upper 50s. on your seven-day forecast we get rain returning as we head throughout thursday and friday with not a large storm. the best possibility will be on thursday and we'll see a few of those linger into friday. but, as we said, there is still hope in february to get some storms in here. keeping our fingers crossed at this point for something big. >> maybe late they are week. >> hopefully. thank you, jeff. >>> our beloved candlestick and the wrecking ball. with the new stadium nearing completion in santa clara san francisco's planning to demolish the stick. it will happen a few weeks after the end of next season.
